Brass Traditional Dancing Shiva( Natrajan) Idol For Home/ Gifting.

In Stock

This is a handcrafted bronze or brass idol of Lord Shiva in the Ananda Tandava pose, commonly referred to as Nataraja (the King of Dance). This specific depiction captures a highly dynamic moment of divine energy and cosmic rhythm.

Visual & Symbolic Features

The Pose (Tandava): Shiva is shown with his right leg firmly planted on a small figure, while his left leg is elegantly raised and crossed over his body. This pose symbolizes the perpetual cycle of creation, preservation, and destruction.

The Dwarf (Apasmara): Beneath Shiva’s foot lies the demon Apasmara, who represents ignorance and ego. By standing upon him, Shiva symbolizes the triumph of spiritual wisdom over worldly delusion.

Gestures (Mudras): * His front right hand is held in the Abhaya Mudra (the “fear not” gesture), offering protection to devotees.

His front left hand points toward his raised foot, signifying liberation and the path to salvation.

Material & Finish: The idol features a warm, antique golden-brown finish characteristic of traditional Indian metalwork. It has a high level of detail, especially in the intricate jewelry (necklaces, armlets, and anklets) and the tiered, decorative rectangular pedestal.

Aesthetic Details: Unlike some larger Nataraja statues that include a circular “halo” of flames (Prabha Mandala), this version focuses entirely on the fluid movement of the deity’s form. The crown (Jatamukuta) is tall and ornate, adding to the majestic presence of the figure.
